Microsoft One Commercial Partner

ROLE: Lead UI Designer

95% of Microsoft’s commercial revenue flows through their partner ecosystem.

For five years, I was the visual design lead for the team that developed and maintained a comprehensive design system of responsive web components and page elements for this network, tailored to meet the business objectives of their stakeholders.

Feature addition and design iteration

What began as a sitecore migration evolved into an ongoing retainer, continually designing new components to meet evolving stakeholder requirements. For each sprint, I would present two rounds of design, and would prepare documentation of approved elements and components to Microsoft's development team.

In addition to ongoing refreshes to maintain alignment with Microsoft’s brand, we would regularly audit the effectiveness and accessibility of design elements

Guidance

To help the marketing team achieve a clean and cohesive aesthetic, we would provide guidance on best practices for integrating the various components on a page. For this reason, we were often asked to present options for structuring sites and pages, using this design system.
